Letter 15: The Road Home — When You Feel Lost

A childlike hand reaches forward in soft invitation symbolizing the tender call of the Father ready to hold, receive, and lead the lost back home with love and grace.

A hand gently reaches forward, extended in soft, open invitation. The background is softly lit, creating a sense of warmth and tenderness. This image captures childlike faith, trust, and the loving reach of the Father—always ready to hold us, always drawing us near.

This is Letter 15 from Rescue Mission from Heaven. For the one who’s wandered, who feels like they’ve taken too many wrong turns, or fears they’re too far gone to be found—this letter is for you. Because Jesus still calls you home.

The Road Home — When You Feel Lost

When You Can’t See the Way, Jesus Is Still the Lifeboat

Sometimes the journey feels long.

The waves are high.

The wind is loud.

And you wonder if you’ll ever make it home.

Maybe you’ve drifted off course.

Maybe you’ve taken wrong turns.

Maybe you’ve made mistakes you think can’t be undone.

But Jesus is still calling —

still reaching out —

still waiting to bring you home.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

He’s the way back to the Father.

The lifeboat that always finds the harbor.

The Rescuer who leaves the 99 to find the one —

you.

Even if you’ve strayed,

even if you’re tired,

even if you’ve lost hope —

He’s still calling you home.

Friend, don’t let the waves drown out His voice.

Don’t let shame keep you from His arms.

Because Jesus is the way home —

and He’s waiting with open arms.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I feel lost. I’ve wandered. I’ve made mistakes. But I want to come home. Thank You for always reaching for me.

Lead me back to You — and hold me close forever. Amen.

Action Step:

Write down one step you can take today to come closer to Jesus — and take it.
