Letter 16: If You Search for Him with All Your Heart, You Will Find Him

A white Holy Bible rests on the shoreline at sunrise, bathed in golden light with soft waves nearby- symbolizing Gods steady, unchanging Word and His nearness to those who earnestly Seek Him.

A white Holy Bible rests gently on the sand at the edge of the shore, illuminated by the soft glow of a golden sunrise. The waves are calm, and the sky is painted with hues of peach, lavender, and blue. This peaceful scene symbolizes God’s unchanging Word—firm and steadfast—amid the tides of life. A picture of hope, promise, and new beginnings.

This is Letter 16 from Rescue Mission from Heaven. There’s a promise written into the heart of Scripture—one that doesn’t require perfection or performance. Just a heart willing to seek. This letter is for anyone who has ever wondered if God sees them, hears them, or is willing to come close.

If You Search for Him with All Your Heart, You Will Find Him

The Promise That Changes Everything

“But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.”—Deuteronomy 4:29

Some promises are so tender, so personal, they feel like a whisper from Heaven. This one is different from any other—it’s a promise from God’s own lips: “If you search for Me with all your heart and with all your soul, you will find Me.”

No matter how far you’ve wandered, no matter how lost or broken you feel, this promise stands: If you search for Him, you will find Him.

I remember my own search. It started when everything else in my life crumbled.

The walls I’d built to hold my pain—my pride, my self-sufficiency—collapsed all around me. I was left with nothing but questions and emptiness.

That’s when I searched for Jesus—not with half my heart, but with every last broken piece. And you know what? He met me there. He didn’t hide from me. He didn’t run. He wrapped me in His love and made me new.

Maybe you’re in a place like that right now—maybe you are tired of pretending, tired of chasing after things that can’t save you. Maybe you’re longing for a real rescue.

This is your lifeboat moment.

Search for Him—with all your heart.

Don’t hold anything back.

Bring Him your pain, your questions, your failures, your doubts.

Bring Him the messy parts you’re ashamed of.

Because He’s waiting—arms open, heart open—ready to rescue you.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” —Jeremiah 29:13

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You—truly know You. I want a real relationship with You. I bring You my whole heart—every broken part—and I ask You to meet me here. Rescue me. Show me that You’re real. I need You now. Amen.

Action Step:

Take a quiet moment—just you and Jesus—and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Read Deuteronomy 4:29 and Jeremiah 29:13 again. Surrender everything to Him.
