Letter 18: Mustard Seed Faith
This is Letter 18 from Rescue Mission from Heaven. When life feels like too much and your faith feels too small—this letter is for you. Because even the tiniest seed of faith, placed in the hands of Jesus, is enough to move mountains.
When One Seed Is All You Need
Sometimes faith feels so small—
like a tiny mustard seed in a vast, stormy sea.
The waves look too big, the winds too strong.
But Jesus said:
“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
(Matthew 17:20)
It’s not the size of faith that matters, but the strength of God.
Even the smallest seed of faith, when placed in His hands,
can move mountains and calm the seas.
Today, I choose to bring my mustard seed faith into the lifeboat.
I choose to trust Him to do what only He can do.
Faith still moves mountains.
And Jesus is still the One who calms the storm.
All that’s needed is a mustard seed—
and a heart willing to trust Him.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me that all I need is a mustard seed of faith.
Help me to trust You, even when I can’t see the way.
I believe You are the God who moves mountains and parts seas. Amen.
Action Step
Think of the mountain in your life right now.
Surrender it to Jesus.
