Letter 21: When You Finally Find the Narrow Road…

This is Letter 21 from Rescue Mission from Heaven. This is the road fewer find. The one that strips away comfort but leads to life. Walking Where Others Have Walked

When you finally find the narrow road,
walk it like those who came before us.

When our family lost everything, we followed Job—worshiping through the ashes.
When we needed reassurance, we looked to Gideon—trusting God’s voice through our doubt.
When we needed courage, we remembered Esther—who stood for truth when the stakes were high.
When it didn’t look like hope existed, we leaned on Joseph—who forgave and walked in God’s purpose.
When we made a U-turn and felt swallowed by circumstances, we remembered Jonah—who encountered God in the depths.

When we were building this book, we thought of Noah—faithfully preparing for something no one understood.
When we were weary in the wilderness, we remembered Moses—who walked forward even when the path was uncertain.
When we felt unseen, we looked to Hagar—who discovered God as “the One who sees.”
When we were imprisoned by pain, we worshiped like Paul and Silas—shaking the walls with praise.
When our faith felt shipwrecked, we still held on like Paul—broken backs, unshakable trust.
When we were defeated by fear, we remembered David—who faced giants with nothing but faith and a sling.

These aren’t just Bible stories.
They’re road signs.

Proof that the narrow road is worth it.
That suffering is not the end of the story.
That obedience will never be wasted.

So don’t give up now.
Even if you’re limping.
Even if you’re tired.
Because in the end,
Jesus is everything.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me walk this narrow road with faith like those who came before me.
Give me strength when I’m weary, courage when I’m afraid, and joy in the midst of trials.
I know You are with me every step of the way. Amen.
