Letter 35 – In the End, Only Trust Jesus: The Lifeboat That Never Sinks
This is Letter 35 from Rescue Mission from Heaven.
If you’ve been shaken, disappointed, or searching for something steady — this letter is your anchor.
There’s only one lifeboat that doesn’t sink. And His name is Jesus.
IN THE END, ONLY TRUST JESUS
When Every Lifeboat Points to Him
The storms will come.
The waves will rise.
The world will shake and sink and betray every hope you thought would hold you up.
But Jesus? Jesus never fails.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5–6)
This world is full of counterfeit lifeboats—people, money, religion, success.
They look like they can save you, but when the flood comes, they sink.
I’ve learned the hard way that even the ones you love most can let you down.
Friends leave. Plans crumble. Dreams fade.
But Jesus stays.
In the end, only trust Jesus.
Only He can hold you steady in the storm.
Only He can forgive your sins.
Only He can bring you home.
When the lifeboat is full, when the door is closing, when the waves are rising—
make sure you’re in the lifeboat that’s powered by His grace.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being His.
It’s about saying,
“Jesus, I need You. I trust You with everything I am.”
Friend, don’t wait for the flood to make your choice.
Choose Him now. Trust Him now.
Because when everything else falls away—Jesus remains.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I trust You. I give You my heart, my plans, my future.
Help me to hold on to You—and only You—no matter what comes.
Be my lifeboat. Be my rescue. Be my everything. Amen.
Action Step:
Say these words out loud today:
“Jesus, I trust You. No matter what, I trust You.”
Let those words anchor you in the storm.
