Letter 28: The Thief on the Cross — Even at the Last Breath

This is Letter 28 from Rescue Mission from Heaven.
If you’ve ever felt like it’s too late for you — too broken, too far gone — this letter is proof that Jesus saves even at the very last breath.

THE THIEF ON THE CROSS — EVEN AT THE LAST BREATH
When It’s Never Too Late for Jesus

Two criminals hung beside Jesus that day—both guilty, both broken, both at the very end of their lives. One mocked.
One believed.

“Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” (Luke 23:42)

Even with his dying breath, the thief found hope.
Even in his final moments, he saw the Rescuer—and he reached out.

And Jesus—in His last agony—turned to him and said:

“Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

That’s the lifeboat of grace—always open, always ready, always enough.

Maybe you feel like it’s too late.
Maybe you’ve made too many mistakes.
Maybe the floodwaters have risen too high.

But friend, if you’re still breathing, it’s not too late for Jesus.
His mercy is big enough to rescue you—even in your final moments.

The thief on the cross didn’t have time to clean up his life.
He didn’t have time to do good works.
He simply believed—and that was enough for Jesus to save him.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)

If you’ve been running from Him—stop.
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment—this is it.
If you’re holding your last breath—use it to call on Jesus.

Because at the last breath—He’s still the Lifeboat that rescues.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, even at my last breath, I believe You are enough. I trust You to forgive my sins and carry me home.
Thank You for Your mercy and Your grace. Amen.

Action Step:

Take a deep breath. Whisper His name:
“Jesus, I trust You. Rescue me.”
Because even at the last breath—He’s ready to save.
