Letter 13: The Tears He Keeps — Every Tear Counts

A crystal clear teardrop suspended in mid air against warm background. Capturing sorrow, tenderness, and the truth that God sees and treasures every tear we cry.

A single teardrop is suspended in mid-air, caught just before it falls. The droplet is crystal clear, reflecting light and surrounding tones with gentle highlights. Set against a warm, neutral background, the image evokes deep emotion—symbolizing sorrow, release, and the beauty found in brokenness. A tender visual reminder that God sees every tear and holds each one with care.

This is Letter 13 from Rescue Mission from Heaven. This letter is for the tearful nights no one else saw. The moments you felt alone in the pain. But heaven saw. And every tear was counted. Let this remind you: your sorrow is seen, kept, and one day -turned into joy.

The Tears He Keeps — Every Tear Counts

Your Tears Are His Treasure

Sometimes the pain feels too deep to bear.

The tears fall in secret, the tears no one else sees.

The tears that make you feel like no one understands.

But Jesus sees every one.

“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle.” (Psalm 56:8)

He’s not indifferent to your pain.

He’s not too busy or too distant.

He’s the God who bends low, who collects every tear, who holds every broken piece of your heart.

Your tears matter to Him.

They are not wasted.

They are not lost.

They are kept—counted—treasured.

I’ve cried tears in the dark places, when hope felt far away, when the lifeboat seemed to sink, when the storm felt too fierce.

But even then, He was there, holding me, catching every tear, reminding me that even in my pain, I am not alone.

Friend, you are seen.

You are loved.

You are precious to the One who gave everything to rescue you.

Every tear counts.

Every tear is kept.

Every tear is a prayer, and one day,

He will wipe them all away.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” (Revelation 21:4)

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing every tear I’ve cried. Thank You for keeping them, for holding me close, for promising that one day they will all be wiped away. Help me trust You with my pain and find comfort in Your love. Amen.

Action Step:

Write down one tearful moment that Jesus has used to draw you closer to Him. Thank Him for seeing it, for keeping it, and for the promise that one day every tear will be turned into joy.
