Letter 14: Sand or Rock — Where Are You Standing?

This is Letter 14 from Rescue Mission from Heaven. There is only one foundation that stands when the storms of life come crashing in—and it’s not comfort, control, or self-strength. This letter is your invitation to check your footing and stand firm on the Rock that never moves.

When You Can’t See the Way, Jesus Is Still the Lifeboat

Sometimes the journey feels long.
The waves are high.
The wind is loud.
And you wonder if you’ll ever make it home.

Maybe you’ve drifted off course.
Maybe you’ve taken wrong turns.
Maybe you’ve made mistakes you think can’t be undone.

But Jesus is still calling—
still reaching out—
still waiting to bring you home.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
—John 14:6

He’s the way back to the Father.
The Lifeboat that always finds the harbor.
The Rescuer who leaves the 99 to find the one—
you.

Even if you’ve strayed,
even if you’re tired,
even if you’ve lost hope—
He’s still calling you home.

Friend, don’t let the waves drown out His voice.
Don’t let shame keep you from His arms.
Because Jesus is the way home—
and He’s waiting with open arms.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I feel lost. I’ve wandered. I’ve made mistakes. But I want to come home.
Thank You for always reaching for me.
Lead me back to You—and hold me close forever. Amen.

Action Step
